Zonatlas
Zonatlas can show which roofs in an particular area are suitable for the placement of solar panels and the generation of sustainable solar energy. Property owners areable to calculate what the investment will bring them by using a simple calculator. Zonatlas is a Dutch company, but they have stated that they will also work in Morocco in this specific case. Besides that, Zonatlas has several partners that can deliver the appropriate solar panels.
The benefits of using the product With this investment, everyone can generate sustainable energy for a low price. One solar panel can be used for approximately 25 years.

Greenhouse agriculture
Leo Zwinkels runs a plant nursery specialized in growing Cymbidiums in greenhouses. He will provide you with information, for example about the climate within greenhouses and maintaining them. In his greenhouses, Leo makes use of water basins. He shall explain to you what is needed to keep the water in the basins healthy and oxygenated. A visit to his company will show you the potential of greenhouse usage.

Grensverleggers
Aart van den Beukel, who is a former owner of coffee-and-bagel bars in the Dutch capital, nowadays delivers public toilets to people in the slumps of Accra, Ghana. Human excreta from the toilets are being transposed in compost. Thereafter, the compost will be turned into biogas, which is then used to power a biogas power station. As a result, Grensverleggers provides the local power company with cheap electricity, obtained frombiogas.
By working together with this company, it is possible to devise a profitable system for public sanitary facilities. Using biogas toilets in these facilities is a means to creating a sustainable sanitary system which also produces electricity.

Aquaworld Biosystems B.V.
Aquaworld Biosystems B.V. delivers all sorts of products for an improved sanitation, including septic tanks. By placing a septic tank, the pollution of groundwater will be reduced in short notice. Human excretion can be collected separately, and by adding biodegradable products it will be transformed into odourless compost.
The sewage system in Ain Leuh is not developed optimally. After ten years of collecting waste in the septic tank, it can then be applied as a fertilizer for the crops. The waste water can also be collected and purified. This can then be used again to irrigate the land.

Wageningen University
Wageningen University will provide you with three lectures about various agricultural topics. Jantiene Baartman knows everything about soil degradation, Willemien Lommen will take care of the crop knowledge part and Harm Boesveld will be responsible for a lecture about drip irrigation. Therefore, it’s important to keep in mind that the Moroccan government has put subsidies on drip irrigation. As a result, it would not be an expensive investment.

The International Fresnel company
About the company In general, a greenhouse captures ‘too much’ sun. The IFC produces equipment to lead this heat waste to a specific pipe, in which you have to flow cold water. This water will heat up and become useable for many purposes in the village. The International Fresnel company also delivers triple junction cells, which can be placed in greenhouses. The cells are a large battery of solar cells, that are able to produce sustainable electricity.
As mentioned above, the pipes could be used to heatthe water, only using the sun. The triple junction cells can provide many households with green electricity.
